The Department of General Linguistics and Romano-Germanic Philology

The department was established in 2002. From the very beginning of its existence, the department has been specializing in teaching practical English grammar and phonetics, thereby creating the foundations of students’ accurate and effective communication in the foreign language. A separate area of work of the department is the development and implementation of new technologies for teaching English, aimed at improving the efficiency and productiveness of the educational process.
