The Faculty of Foreign Philology was set up in 2000. It was based on the Philological Faculty, which had been established in 1984. The faculty teaching staff provide high-quality training of future teachers of foreign languages \ philologists in the following areas:
Students of the faculty have the opportunity to receive professional training in the following languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Chinese, Japanese, Hebrew, Persian, Turkish. Foreign languages command makes our graduates competitive in the labour market not only in Ukraine but also abroad.
The department teaching staff consists of highly qualified employees. It includes 8 professors, 55 associate professors as well as skilled tutors of foreign languages. Educational process is provided by 7 departments:

At the faculty, it is traditional to hold scientific and practical conferences and discussion clubs among students who study foreign languages. An important focus in the work of the faculty is cooperation with schools (participation in Olympiads, preparation of the Junior Academy of Sciences research papers, holding methodological seminars). Educational work being an integral part of the educational process enables qualitative training of a future foreign language teacher in the context of New Ukrainian School.
